@Ta2ued Good question. No, it's not an option on the Blaze because it will auto-detect your sleep. If you want to manually start tracking sleep while wearing Blaze, you can do it through the Fitbit app by going to the Sleep Tile > tap '+' button > 'Begin Sleep Now'.

I did use the sleep track option in the FitBit app but it is just showing a blank line with no different sleep stages.
I had a Jawbone previously and one of the features in it was that I could manually log the sleep in the the App and it would pick up my sleep movements data from the band and still give me my sleep pattern.
Any such options with Fitbit? I am using Blaze by the way.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Imad! If you where wearing your Blaze during your sleep as you mentioned and recording your sleep with your phone, after you sync your tracker your sleep information should appear on your sleep log. If possible I would like to ask if you can provide me a screenshot of your sleep log so I can further investigate.
Catch you later! 🙂

Is it normal for the manual "Start Sleep" to only record in the older graphs without sleep stages/patterns?
Update: I found in the Fitbit Help FAQ that this happens when using manual "Start Sleep".

Hi @GretaC8. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
And yes, you're totally right, when it comes to Sleep Stages, they will not show but instead, it will show the previous Sleep Patterns only if you use the manual Start Sleep option on your phone.
Now, there are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages that you might want to take into consideration:
- If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
- If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed) as you may already know.
- If you slept for less than 3 hours.
- If your tracker’s battery is critically low.
Hope this helps and any other question you may have, let me know! 🙂
