Volume adjusting on its own!

These past couple of weeks while doing overhead presses at the gym the volume goes up, up, up while I hold the weights over my head while listening to the radio. This is new. Anybody else? Also, it pauses itself in the middle of a workout frequently...this is also new.

Hi there @Ghynd, great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I would say that this could be caused by your tracker being close to your wrist and with some movements, your wrist might be pressing some buttons and this is making the volume to change or your workouts to pause.

I'd recommend wearing your tracker higher up on your wrist while you're exercising to prevent this from happening and see if this makes any difference.

Let me know how it goes!

I paid closer attention this past workout and discovered that the volume button was being depressed by the strap on my new gloves when I held the weights over my head. Duh! Thanks for your reply as it made me consider that it might have been me, rather than the Fitbit.

Mystery solved! haha

Thanks for getting back @Ghynd and I'm glad you were able to find the cause for it. Now, just be sure to wear your tracker a little higher on your wrist maybe to prevent that from happening. Any other thing you may need, I'm here to help! 🙂
