Warning triangle with thermometer

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My blade keeps showing a warning triangle with a thermometer in it..looking as if it is a warning that it is cold. Which is impossible....normally this happens when I am trying with it on. It then keeps turning itself to standby and the fitbit logo comes on. Any ideas?

Most likely an interrupted upgrade or update @Poolie4321

Now the communication is all confused between your tracker and mobile.  Try the following steps - you can stop when everything is back to normal....otherwise keep going 🙂

  1. Reboot your mobile (turn off, then on)
  2. Restart your tracker.
  3. Delete the fitbit app from your mobile and download a fresh copy, launch
  4.  Run any upgrades or updates prompted, again.
  5. If your tracker has call, text, or calendar notifications turned on, turn them off and try the update again. If your tracker updates successfully, go back and turn notifications back on.
  6. If you still can't update, try disconnecting (or forgetting your tracker from your mobile and letting your mobile rediscover your Blaze and reconnect.
  7. Disconnect again and try using a different mobile (if you have one available).
  8. If you don't have a second bluetooth mobile device like iPad or mobile, contact customer service chat and let them know what steps you've tried.

Come back and let us know which step worked for you, hoping you get back on the road quickly!

A warm welcome to the Community @Poolie4321 and @wmchapman thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you keep having issues with your Blaze? Did the instructions provided by our friend @wmchapman worked?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Mine just went to this thermometer screen as well this morning. I looked at the time about 6:05 and re-looked about 6:10 and it went to this screen. The temperature in my house was probably 67 degrees Fahrenheit. It will not reboot or restart. The green dots on the back or not blinking or turned on at all for that matter. There is a lack of any good responses to this problem, which is very concerning...

@tonytan, I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to you 😕 Have you tried to manually restart your  tracker? If not, You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Then keep an eye on your tracker and see how it behaves for the next days and let me know if you need more help! Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂

Good to see you around @Jodey153!

I'm sorry about this. Whenever users are out of warranty, other companies normally do nothing about that... In these situations, Fitbit wants to make sure that users are not left empty handed and will offer a discount for users to take advantage of any tracker they'd like to keep a healthy lifestyle.

If you have any other doubts, feel free to let us know!

I just feel that a $200 product should last for more than 16 months! I'm not sure if I will purchase another Blaze if the life span of the product is so short. Its still $150 at the discounted price! My Charge HR is twice as old & has no issues.

Just disappointed in the product

I just did a hard reset, holding down all 3 buttons for at least 10 seconds, and it rebooted and went back to normal.

Were you able to get this issue rectified?  My husband is having the same trouble with his Fitbit

Having the same issue, temperature isn’t the issue, mine will freeze in normal 60-68, as well as 40-50 temps.  It will not do a re-set & the battery was full charged or at least 50%+ charged in the different times it freezes up..

I'm having the same problem and my phone is only 17 months old, you would think something made to be worn during workouts and sports would be built better.

My same thought. Have you heard of any warranty or possible fixes from “ FIT “?

I was offered a $50 credit.... unacceptable in my opinion. I left Fitbit
for a competitor. --
