Hello everyone I had a Polar fitness watch and I wanted an upgrade with a heart rate system connected to the watch. I upgraded to the blaze. Before when I would work out when I typically reached a "calorie burning amount " I would have succeeded and reached my dusky goal. For example I often do bikram yoga which can typically burn any where from 500-700 calories. It does not show up that I have met my goal. I get the whole step concept but for some of us that use other styles of workouts why does the watch do this ?

Go to your Baze setting - exercise shortcuts and choose. I believe there are 19 types

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. However I did already try that. I tried it under "workout " as well. I originally tried under just "workout" and that was a no. I made a new section and that also was a no., so I really don't know if there's a solution.

I've tried to figure this out as well and I'm probably going to just call them. I think that's the best idea. Good luck to you.

Yoga is not a step based exercise, so it will not add to the step goal, it should add towards the calorie goal if it increases the heart rate. I thouhht yoga was for calming though. Logging it will count towards the 5 day exercise count.

To clarify bikram yoga is a very good aerobic workout. It's more than just a "yoga" class But I also do other cardio workouts and I find the same issues.
