I have Yoga on my exercise modes that I can access from my Blaze. However, if I log Yoga on my Blaze it does not count towards my active minutes. But if I log Yoga on my phone ap it does? Anyone else having this issue?

It's great to see you around @dmama1314. Keep in mind that you earn active my doing high intense activities. Unfortunately, yoga is not a high intense activity. You will earn active minutes by running or jogging. Manually logging activities won't give you active minutes.
Keep the stepping up!

But it accepts it on the phone ap.
I guess what is disappointing is this is a FITNESS tracker. If I can track my heart rate during yoga and it can tell me how many calories I burned, how is it not active minutes. Maybe something to think about. Fitness is fitness. All of my fitness activities should be tracked. I just use the workout option under my exercise shortcuts. Because anytime not sitting on your butt is active!

Have to agree it should include yoga. Any form of activity should count, I don't see why high intensity workouts should be the only things recorded.

Hi, @AlejandraFitbit , you obviously don't do the kind of yoga I do! I get active minutes from a brisk walk, but usually not from yoga -- and I can assure you that my yoga exercise is significantly more intense... However, @dmama1314 , I don't worry about it...
@C-Garrett , the active minutes is based on CDC recommendations for moderate to intense activity. Only awarding active minutes for exercises at moderate to intense level helps you know whether you are meeting the recommendations.

I've just been having the same discussion in my head, I sweat so much from the strength and cardio yoga I do that it should totally count!

I have an Ionic, but is also concerned about yoga and fitbit. Yesterday I did not one but intense yoga workouts, today my body aches in good places. But according to my fitbit app it looks as I was lazy yesterday. 6 poor active minutes and I didn´t reach my kcal-goal. Or my steps. Or my km.
Either is yoga fake (or at least not training) or is the fitbit-watches not good at picking up the effort-signals from the body during yoga.
