fitbit life expectancy

I have had six Fitbit devices. In my experience, and from what I’m reading, the average life expectancy of a device is one year. I’m sure this is planned, but I’m sick of it. I will be moving my business elsewhere for my next fitness device. As soon as my Blaze dies, which I’m assuming will be any day now, I’m done wasting my money. Anyone have another brand they love?

My battery in my 5 month old watch was also not functioning properly. I
contacted FItbit directly, spoke to the staff and received a new one in
about two weeks. I also had to send the entire watch and its packaging back
via a post-paid (by Fitbit) package.

My husband has had 3 in 3 1/2 years and he finally gave up and got a $30 throw away. It does what he wants it to do.  I, in the other hand, have kept my Versa 2 for 4 years. It just died. Hence, I'm reading up on life expectancy of FitBit. If the average life is really 1-2 years I'm bouncing.
