How do I access my lifetime stats on the Charge 5.  I have already tried following all the various instructions that were posted in July 2024 and none work.  At the moment, I am not liking Fitbit/Google.

Hello @musher1

There's a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to see historical data. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

Although you currently don't see your historical data, I don't think there's any loss of your data, as best as I can tell. To me, it seems there's a syncing issue between the Fitbit servers and the app.

At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting that we can recommend since the issue is on the Fitbit side.

@musher1   Tap on your screen name on this page.  This will take you to your Community profile.  Now tap on the blue ‘Go to Fitbit.com profile’ near your screen name.  Your web Fitbit profile page is still available.  You can see your lifetime and best stats, not available on the app.

I also have a Charge 5, and have been a Fitbit user for exactly 10-years (since 12/29/14). I've never seen Lifetime Stats or Achievements on the Fitbit app. I previously used to logon to: https://fitbit.com/user/123A4B. The last part was my personal Fitbit User ID (123A4B is a made up one for this post, not my personal one). This always brought me to a screen showing my background image, my head-shot photo, "PERSONAL INFO", "LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT STATS", "BEST ACHIEVEMENT STATS", "RECENT BADGES", and "See all Badges" (to select). Recently this link no longer works, possibly due to Google's involvement or some other reason with Fitbit. Now to see what's described above, I have to logon to: https://accounts.fitbit.com, then a screen shows saying: "Find your health dashboard in the Fitbit app". Then while still on this screen, press the three horizontal lines at the top-right of the screen, which will show: "Store", "Profile" (with your photo), "Settings", and "Logout". Press on "Profile", and all of your "LIFETIME STATS" etc. will show on the screen.

I'm correcting info in my last post above, and Profile info. I've been a Fitbit user for 10-years since 12/26/14, and as of today 12/29/24, have reached 10,673.73 miles in Lifetime Distance.

First, thank you to the 2 that responded to my first inquiry as to how to access; clear instructions and successful outcome.  I'm using Charge 5 Premium. Now comes this question:

Lifetime Achievement Stats show #of steps and distance.  Is that just walking?  Does that include when I start the Fitbit Walking to record steps & distance for exercise?  Does this also include #steps and distance for hiking when I record it?  Or is this Lifetime Achievement Stat strictly only reflecting walking around the house, yard, store?

@musher1   I merged your post with your original post to help your question make sense.  Steps are steps.  Every step, whether you use the Exercise app or not, is included.   Lifetime distance comes from two sources.  Any exercise that is tracked with GPS uses that measured distance.  Everything else uses the steps x stride length = distance equation.

My experience with Fitbit, is that steps are recorded whenever and wherever you’re walking or running, while wearing the Fitbit device. Running just records each step faster.

I set my walking and running stride distance in inches years ago by counting and measuring, but below is supposedly the way to do it now.

Good Luck,

Mark

Are they ever going to fix this issue?  It is an on-going issue since last August!  I still get the weekly emails with the statistics, but nothing shows on the app for anything other than today.  Very frustrating!  And ridiculous!

ferguson7246,

I previously replied to someone who wanted to know how to access their Lifetime stats: Total Miles, Steps etc., which you can't do from the Fitbit app. For Lifetime info you have to logon to: https://fitbit.com/user/123A4B (the 123A4B is where your Fitbit ID goes in the URL).

Your post says "nothing shows on the app for anything other than today."

By this do you mean yesterday and all the days previous to yesterday don't show any stats? If so, you should delete the app., reinstall it, and log back on to your account. If you still have the same problem, you should contact Fitbit customer service.
