Add a card notification

My Charge 5 buzzes and requests me to add a card multiple times (60 times in an hour sometimes). I click “got it”, but that doesn’t seem to be enough. It’s been doing this for the last 2-3 weeks. This is really annoying. I don’t want to add a card.

@dgreen7 Hello and welcome. Have you tried restarting your Charge 5 to see if that fixes the issue?

I am about to throw this one in the trash and begin search for another brand.   I am charging this device so frequently that I am missing the point of having it on my wrist.   This has got to be fixed asap!! I will not use this feature.

Essentially seems Fitbit aren't going to do anything about it apart from wait & hope it goes away - first reported last year: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/How-to-stop-add-card-notification/td-p/5221453

They marked a "best answer" there which just says they're "monitoring the situation"...that was 7 months ago
