All sensors on my Charge 5 stopped working

So one Saturday evening I go to check my Charge 5 and I notice that its unresponsive. I thought that's weird, I remembered It still had 60% battery life left. So I go to charge it and nothing, no vibration and the display was unresponsive. Sunday morning I contact Fitbit chat and I'm speaking to a rep. After numerous tries attempting to reset the device using the button on the charger, something finally happens. The Fitbit Logo pops-up on the screen and it looks like it's charging. My phone started the new firmware update and I leave it alone. I come back to it later and I notice the responsiveness was pretty laggy. Most noticeably was that the heart rate sensor, the ECG, the EDA and the raise to wake functions were not working. I turned the device on and off, that didn't help. I tried resetting once more by pressing the button on the charger three times, and that didn't help either. I am not happy. At first I had the lux, was pretty happy with it until it noticed the GPS would cut out all the time. Ended up returning that Lux and was recommended the Charge 5. I thought the charge 5 was pretty cool, I previously owned a charge 2 and it was a solid device. My Charge 5 is barely 8 months old, what the heck!
