Bluetooth not recognizing Charge 5

The band on my older Charge 4 broke at the connection to the device meaning I had to replace the device. So I received the Charge 5 today. I cannot get the bluetooth on my iPhone to recognize the Charge 5. I have gone through all the steps numerous times, and exhausted the suggestions of the chat "help tech." Now it seems I have to wait for three days for someone to get back to me. I am a bariatric patient and rely heavily on my Fitbit to stay on track, having lost 110 pounds so far. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

Thank you for sharing that you experienced this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

 

I've sent your information to the Support team again, but it seems they're still handling your case. I've seen it's been taking a bit more than usual to receive a reply from them, since it's a new device and they often need to verify things with a higher level of Support, but you should be receiving a reply soon. However, you can also contact us though chat or call us directly here
