Can’t update to new firmware

I was gifted a Fitbit Charge 5 and it is running old firmware (20001.188.58). I’ve done pretty much everything I can think of to try and update it, but so far nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Based on the posts in this thread I wouldn't be in a hurry to update, and I've seen posts that suggest that the update has been pulled due to issues.
