I've been having issues with my Charge 5 since about 2 months after getting it. The first two months were without any issues, and what I'd expect from the device. After that 2 months, it had an issue where the screen would refuse to come on and the battery would drain within a day. It would be like this 90% of the time, with the other 10% of the time being it intermittently working fine. Due to this, I stopped using it and completely forgot about it (and forgot to log a support ticket).
I came across the Charge a couple of weeks ago (about 6 months later) and gave it a charge to see if the issue was still there. It actually started behaving as normal, and for a few days it was working as you'd expect and seemingly tracking everything fine. Then after a few days I noticed it had started to not track sleep properly. It's been like this the last 10 days or so. We have a baby that wakes during the night, and what I've noticed when settling her down is that the Fitbit lights up maybe 2-3 times per hour with the Fitbit logo, and then the clock face follows - almost like it's constantly rebooting. Since noticing it at night, I've actually caught it a few times during the day too so I expect this is happening 24/7. I also don't even get 2 days out of a full charge anymore.
I've tried the charging cable button sequence, and also let the battery completely drain and then fully charge it but none of these have solved the issue. Any ideas, or sound familiar to anyone?
