Upon waking this morning I noticed that my Health Metrics has gone through what looks like an entirely unnecessary cosmetic change. But the Sp02 now doesn't show and when I tap it, it says that I need to install the Sp02 app, whatever that is. Anyway tapped through to a page that's says Sp02 app not available for my device (Charge 5). Has been absolutely fine up until now with no extra app installed - what does any of this mean? My fitbit is up to date and I use the normal app daily and until now Sp02 has shown every day. Why the change?

My charge 6 is the same when I got up this morning. No Spo2 data for last night and the Spo2 app shows not installed and not available. What are you guys doing?

This happened with my Charge 5 this morning. I thought it was weird so I came on here to see if it had happened to anyone else.

Mine now seems fine. In fact the issue had gone later on in the day that I commented.

I have been having this problem for almost a month now. I am still waiting for an answer. I have uninstalled the fitbit app from my phone, rebooted my phone, reinstalled the fitbit app, went to "Gallery" and installed the Sp02 app. Still getting nothing. Still says I need to install the Sp02 app, but that it's not available. This is getting frustrating.

.....and yes, I did install the Sp02 app after reinstalling the fitbit app. But it still says "need to install Sp02 app" anyway.

That's odd, because mine righted itself a day or so after the problem started. Also using Charge 5. I did nothing at all after realising there was no app and finding this post on the forums.

What SpO2 app?

Same problem for me this morning as described by the other user. Yesterday it gave me the oxygen data, today it says I need to install an app, but then when I try it says it's unavailable for my Fitbit Charge 5. How do I fix this? I have a premium account. I'm surprised that with all the people reporting the fix is not stated here. What's happening?

I had my charge 6 replaced due to a fault
My sp02 app needs uninstalling and reinstalling daily
Many other niggles since it's been replaced 🙄

I just replaced my Charge 5 with a Charge 6 yesterday, because the screen had stopped working properly. I've found that ignoring the SPO2 in the health metrics until later in the day works. It's usually managed to find the data by around lunchtime.😂

Same with my Charge 6. I installed and update yesterday. This morning I saw 4/4 health metrics in normal range. What happened to number 5? Previously, my Fitbit tracked 5 metrics. Further research says Blood Oxygen (SpO2) App Install Needed.

What SpO2 app did you install, for what device? An app on your phone from Goople Play or Apple Store? A plugin for your Fitbit? What was the name of it?

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the additional details provided. Because it's been a few days since you posted, may I know if the issue persists? If so, have you made sure to update the Fitbit app to the 4.45 version?
Please reply back with these details so I can keep our team informed about the impact on your end.

First of all, where do you find out the Fitbit app version? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit App several times from "Playstore" what ever version that is. I'm assuming the latest version. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled my Sp0 app on my phone app. Still not working. In the last month it may have worked twice, one day one week and another day another week. I haven't any idea why its doing this.
