My fitbit charge 5 is stuck in a logo loop. I have tried hardware restart methods as suggested in the earlier threads in this community (3 x 1 sec restart button, 8 sec restart) etc. but all in vein. Can't even contact customer support from India. My charge 5 is only 21 month old. What next...?

Hello @Tanmoy_vec
I moved your post from the Android platform forum to the Charge 5 product help forum since your issue is with the device and not the Android Fitbit app.

Today I connected my fitbit charge 5 to its charger once again and to my surprise it started showing charge percentage ! I could even connect it with my fitbit app ! I decided to charge it to 100% and it did. I could sync the charge values to app. But when I switched off the charger it went back to logo loop and stuck. I will try to change the clock face if i could connect it tomorrow. Anything else to try before throwing it away ??

Good news today. I could change the watch face today and charge it to 100% again. It seems now the main problem is draining of charge. After watch face change and charge it to 100% i was happy. But after I wear it for 15 mins. The device went off with black screen. I weared the dead device for the entire day and charge it again in the evening( charge drained to 4%). Now it's 100% and I am wearing it for last 20min. It is showing 98% at the moment. Everything working fine at the moment. Let's keep our fingers crossed if the device stay alive till morning and entire day tomorrow.

Hey, I am having a similar.problem. Did an update a few days ago and since then, the battery runs from 100% to 5% within a few hours.

My Charge 5 started the flashing logo loop this afternoon. Nothing seems to fix it. Is this garbage now? I have my app on an apple phone. There doesn't seem to be any options for restarting or getting out of the loop.

Hello @Tanmoy_vec , @LynneMcR
Thank you for your updates.
When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

Hello @PennyBright
You might be interested in this unconventional method that a Charge 5 user had success with when they had the flashing logo. They exposed their device to freezer temps. This method has worked for some users, but not all. If you would like to try this method, here's the thread with the details (<-- click link).

My device worked for more than 24 hours and then charge was 60%. But suddenly it went back to logo loop and stayed there ! I need to move on from here and choose a new brand.
