I was bought a charge 5 as a Christmas present December 2022. Last Monday (12th August) it went to a blank screen 20 minutes into an exercise class. I have tried to reboot via the charger numerous times and all I have achieved to date is to view the current charge and the clock face on occasion. As soon as I take it off the charger the battery drains down very quickly. After reading these forums I have managed to change the clock face but that's all I get. The watch will not swipe to any other functions. Does anyone have any other ideas for resetting the watch so it works again? I have currently resorted to using my old charge 2 which with its cracked screen and low battery life at least still works!

Welcome back to the Fitbit Community, @Jaxi.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to your Charge 5 screen. I appreciate your efforts on getting this improved.
Can you answer the following, please?
- Are the LED lights on the back on?
- How long did you charge it for?
- If you haven't charged your Fitbit recently, we ask that you try charging it for 2 hours.
- Does it vibrate when you plug your Fitbit device into the charging cable?
- Have you tried the steps in our support article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Just to further update Cris, this watch was the one I wore daily until it went unresponsive a week ago so it was never out of charge. It had around 65% on when I set off to class. It is showing the percentage of charge while it is connected but this fluctuates wildly as it can go from 99% to 74% in seconds. Once it is off the charger it shows the clock face & green light for a short while and then goes blank again. Is there any way to reboot this?
