Charge 5 Update

My Charge 5 is updating! I wonder if we will get access to new apps (Agenda, Weather?)

Edited to add: No Weather or Agenda or new clock faces, but there is a new "Find My Phone" feature under settings. It makes your phone give off a piercing sound. I could see myself making use of this.

But we need new clock faces and Weather and Agenda apps!

So what's the firmware version?   Odd that they'd push an update with no notice.  Did it fix the bluetooth issue?

Also curious as to the rollout of this firmware upgrade. My Charge 5 is still on the same firmware (57.20001.149.11) it had when I received it in Dec. 2021.

Interested about this update as I'm holding the upgrade from my charge 4 to have the same functions Relax and Weather and some clock faces with all stats available in the same screen.

My Charge 5 shows the same version (57.20001.149.11) but my Fitbit app says the software is up to date.  How do we get updates?

Subject line says it all.  Tried googling and could not fine any software version history for the charge 5.

I just got my charge three days ago so this may not be new IDK.  Under gps one can now select dynamic, phone, or built-in

Update Charge 5
Update your tracker to get the latest feature enhancements and product updates.
When an update is available, a notification appears in the Fitbit app. After you start the update, follow the progress bars on Charge 5 and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete. Keep your tracker and phone close to each other during the update.
To update Charge 5, your tracker's battery must be at least 20% charged. Updating Charge 5 may be demanding on the battery. We recommend plugging your tracker into the charger before starting an update.

If I can get someone else to verify they have this feature, or the official blog, then I will immediately buy a Charge 5. The Find My Phone feature is the one reason I haven't yet.

Firmware 149 can choose gps in the same way, nothing new.

I do not have the updated firmware but my app says the software is up to date. Why would I not be receiving the update?

I think, way back when, I signed up for a developer account with Fitbit so I could play with their API.  So, maybe I'm getting "beta" releases of firmware.  All I can say is that I received a notification in the Fitbit app (Android) that an update was available.

I have an iPhone and am not part any beta testing… so maybe it will come later.  Thx.
