Now down to needing to charge it three times a day. I have gotten “critical alerts” but then plugged it in and it was at 77%. But if I don’t charge it, it completely dies.
From the other posts, it’s obvious to see that there is a recent, major flaw affecting several people. It’s time Fitbit admitted to its error and acknowledged that the latest update destroyed these devices.

I’ve had this too the past few weeks!! Noticed the battery has been draining really quickly, then a couple times it’s been on 90% when putting it on, then within 20 mins it’s got critical battery and turns off!
Mine is suddenly draining fast too after sometime last week. It went from the battery lasting at least 6 days to barely 24 hours. IDK what happened b/c I don’t think I did any update. Whatever caused this bug needs to be fixed ASAP because I ain’t buying another FitBit less than 2 years after my Charge 5
Best AnswerI've had the same problem for a few months now, I ditched my fitbit but I really want a fix for this, I tried everything and nothing worked so far, I realized mine drains because the screen freezes and i have to tap the screen twice to turn off the screen again, this happens every couple of minutes, it's vey random and it started happening after an update 😞
Even pressing the button on the charger doesn't do anything i think, the logo never turns on. I just get the charging screen or the home screen that freezes.
