My Charge 5 battery started to drain quickly it's been 2 days, I have the firmware version 57.20001.149.11, 1 year of use. I have already restarted and erased it but no effect, battery keeps draining. Is there any other thing that I can do? This is upsetting because I already had a Charge 3 that died 2 times (the one I bought and the replacement) and I'm having problems again, now with another model.

If you have it set to where the screen come on by movement, change it to manual (tap screen) Sometimes with mine if I don't have it in the manual setting like that the battery drains because the screen lights up/turns on every time ya move your arm. I charge mine about once a week but I also hardly look at it, only really ever use the app so that makes a pretty big difference as when I first got it u played with it all the time. Other thing ya can try is take a dry toothbrush or toothpic and clean out the contact points on the back where it charges. Mine gets gunked up pretty easy and can affect the charging.
Best AnswerHaving multiple issues with my Charge 5 which will become a CAT TOY as soon as I find another tracker from another company. I'm disappointed with the lack of support from Fitbit and the hoops they've made me jump through for nothing, especially since all the hoops didn't help. I feel like Fitbit is wasting time and stalling to avoid replacing under their warranty. I had a 2 that last more than 5 years without a problem so clearly whatever upgrades Fitbit made weren't for the consumer. This is the worst tracker ever!
Mine started major battery drain issues yesterday as well. All the fix steps failed including a total reset. Even reloaded the phone app. Same issue. Goes from 100% to zilch in 90 minutes.
I’m suspicious Fitbit did a “fix” yesterday that wasn’t properly evaluated. In any event, I can’t get through to support. I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2016. I think it’s time to move on.
Same issues here past few days. Suuuuuper frustrating.
My charge 5 also drains very quickly! Brand new in April '22 so less than 10 mos. old!! I had a charge 3 that would easily last a week.
Even when new, this charge 5 would maybe last for 5 days, then 3 days, and now every other day! I'll charge it to 100%, and
within 2 hours its down to 65%. Very frustrating! Is it possible to change the battery? Is it covered under a warranty?
