Charge 5 black screen

I took a shower this morning and forgot to take my fitbit off.  It now has a black screen.  I have tried rebooting but I am not seeing anything on the device.  The screen is black.  I haven't had it for a year yet.  Is this covered under the warranty?

Mine went blank this afternoon. The Fitbit app is stuck on "Syncing Apps" - was there an update automatically pushed to devices today? Will try to reboot with the charging cord tonight.

Thanks for getting back to us @WhWaldo. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge went blank this afternoon. I don't have a notification about an update been pushed today. Please let me know what happens after rebooting your device.

I am also having this issue… done all the steps and still a black screen ….any other ideas?

Also should have said can feel vibrations, is fully charged and is tracking just no display

It’s returned to the same issue… not syncing, black screen. I don’t have time for daily resets, etc.  I’ll have to replace it. The warranty is still good for another 7+ months.
