Like everyone else, mine suddenly died. My firmware is 57.20001.188.58
My Charge 5 was working like normal and fully charged as of this morning. I just finished my workout and ended the exercise. Half and hour later it's blank screen and the fitbit app is not able to locate my device anymore. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary and it just died. Tried the reset procedure but does not work - it doesn't turn on.
Is it dead?

Same happened to me last week. I finished my workout, took off my charge 5 and went to the shower, when I came back there was only a logo on it. Nothing worked. I contacted support, but they couldn't help me to revive it. Since my warranty was ended a month ago, they offered only a discount on a new device. I'm very disappointed in Fitbit.

Fitbit customer service have now agreed to process my suggestion for a replacement, so good result all considered.
Had a very strange fault where it would charge to 100 and then, instantly after being taken off the charging cable, completely drain. On plugging it back in seconds later, would be at 1pc and the cycle continues...

Good morning Marre, thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately I have the same blank screen problem like hers. I did what you said to fix it but it is the same. I did get a vibration after each of the restart pushes (3) with the charging cable. The Fitbit’s logo comes on my watch screen but nothing else. My iPhone screen says “ looking “ all the time and can not scyn . I tried to change my watch face but again it’s not connecting.
Can you assist me please?
