My fitbit screen is black. I have 48% battery life. It will not sync either. How do you restart the device?

At the USB end of the charger cable there is a button. Time window is 8 seconds. Press the butting three times, holding down for one second each time not to exceed more than 8 seconds of button mashing.

I also have the same issue my screen is black...but i just got an update OTA for the charge 5. Unfortunately i dont have my charger with me to restart my device so hopefully it is resolved.

Hi marre,
I did the update and restart with using the charger but still no luck. I can feel the watch responding and the app is updating stats but still blank screen.
