Charge 5 blank screen

Today my fitbit charge 5 got a black screen, while my battery was 28%. Then I tried to recharge my fitbit, but that wasn’t workimg anymore. The helpdesk told me to restart the fitbit. But because I don’t see something (because of the black screen), that was not the solution. Then I tried a hard reset by clicking 3 times on the recharge cable, but that wasn’t working too.
Also the below things didn’t help:

- switching my Bluetooth off and on

- when I tried to ‘remove’ my fitbit charge from my device (phone) and to connect my fitbit again with my phone, I was unable to do this.

and not unimportant, at the moment I got a black screen, my fitbit didn’t synchronize anymore.

What can I do?

Hi there, @Aniek89. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 5 is still blank. I understand your concern.

Since you've contacted our Support Team and they already offered some troubleshooting steps, my best advice is to keep the conversation directly with them so they will tell you what is the next step since the recommendations provided didn't work.

Thanks in advance!

@Pentagonal Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5's screen. I will do my best to help you!

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
