Purchased a new Charge 5 for my father who lives in China and speaks Chinese. I set the location of the Apps to “China” but the new device refuses to change from English to Chinese. Please help

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the Community forums for the first time, @bingchilling.
Let me know if your phone set in English or Chinese. Please note that the Fitbit app will grab the setting from your phone. If the language keeps reverting to English, make sure your phone is also in the language you want.
In addition, make sure to sync your device after you select China as the location, since any changes made will not be saved until the device is synced:

Thank you for the comment. The device is linked to a phone in Chinese and the App is in Chinese. The location of account is also set to China. I have followed the instructions but the device is still in English. Tried syncing many times but no change.

@bingchilling Thanks for sharing these updates and for confirming that you already tried the steps suggested.
Could you please also confirm if the language in your dashboard is set to English by going to Fitbit.com on a web browser? Please make sure Chinese is selected and sync your device afterwards.
