Hi, it's good to see you visiting the Community forums for the first time, @bingchilling

Let me know if your phone set in English or Chinese. Please note that the Fitbit app will grab the setting from your phone. If the language keeps reverting to English, make sure your phone is also in the language you want.

In addition, make sure to sync your device after you select China as the location, since any changes made will not be saved until the device is synced:

  1. From the Today tab

in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture

    > App Settings

    > Location.
  2. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  3. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  4. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

You can find more information in this article. Note that your Fitbit device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account.

Thank you for the comment. The device is linked to a phone in Chinese and the App is in Chinese. The location of account is also set to China. I have followed the instructions but the device is still in English. Tried syncing many times but no change.

@bingchilling Thanks for sharing these updates and for confirming that you already tried the steps suggested.

Could you please also confirm if the language in your dashboard is set to English by going to Fitbit.com on a web browser? Please make sure Chinese is selected and sync your device afterwards.

He logged in with his account on fitbit.com and the dashboard is in
Simplified Chinese. The location is selected as China on the webpage. And
then the device was synced but the language on the device stays as English.
