Hi - I recently bought a Fitbit charge 5 having had Fitbit charge 2 for 2 years (althou not worn for past 4 months). However I have noticed that since using my charge 5 my calorie counter is monitoring approx 400 less calories a day than it did on my charge 2. I am doing the same daily routine as I did before, same steps, exercise, weight thre same so I am surprised why I have this disparity from my previous charge 2? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there, @Kated2. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your data after upgrading your Fitbit device.
To better assist you, I was wondering if by any chance you've checked your settings to see if anything was changed accidental? I'd check your personal information to see if your weight and height are properly set, it may worth the try. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned.
Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.

If your personal data is all correct, please try resetting your Charge 5 and then, please try the following steps:
Let me know if setting up your Charge 5 as new device seems to solve the issue with your calories.
