Charge 5 has given me a lots oh headaches. My charge 5 has stop working for more than a month and just a few weeks ago I was able to restart the device but only to find out the the battery only last about 5 to 6 hour's and now my after I update my charge 5 to the new update my charger has stop working again and it's been about 5 days since the last time I have used it. All I want to know is if fitbit is doing this to everyone who owns charge 5. The reason I am saying this is cause I have read a lots of people who is having the same type of issues I had. Every time I ask for help they can't do anything except offer me a 35% discount for me to go and buy a new one.

Did you use a credit card to buy your Charge 5? If you did, a lot of credit cards offer extended warranty by an additional year. You should check to see if you have this benefit because I was reimbursed for this defective product in full through this benefit. Fitbit Support will not offer you anything other than a discount if you are outside the 1 year warranty period because Fitbit does not stand behind their blatantly defective product.

Hi Julian137 I bought my fitbit from BJS store and yes I did used a credit card. But I bought it around 2021 holidays like around Thanksgiving. So it's been about a year and six months ago.

You said you were reimbursed in full. Do you mean you were able to get a full refund or bill credit on your statement? Good job on that.
