My charge 5 red light keeps flashing I’ve charged it reset on charge cord can’t get clock face to work I need to do an update but it won’t let me. It’s only 2 months old please help

"red light keeps flashing" - on the charge 5 screen?
"can't get clock face to work" - do you mean it doesn't work correctly? doesn't display at all? any more explanation?
"I need to do an update" - does phone app say there is an firmware update available? Have you tried to start it?
Any more specifics are helpful.

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5! Although you've mentioned that you have already tried restarting your device, I'd suggest giving it another try as timing is crucial for this procedure. Please follow these instructions:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
If this won't work for you, you could run the battery of your Charge 5 completely down and give it a full charge for several hours afterwards.
