Charge 5 reminders to move repeatedly disabled

I just got a new Charge 5. Reminders to move do not work. After looking in settings in the app I can see that it says ‘disabled’ however if I click this the toggle is clearly on. When I return to the settings page it will say ‘on’ for a second, then return to ‘disabled’ while syncing. I’ve forgotten and reconnected multiple times, logged out and in again, double checked sleep mode and DND are off, app is updated… I can see an old question on the same problem is ‘answered’ however it was not actually answered! Anyone got any tips?

I appreciate the information provided about this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

As you mentioned earlier, the option should be On when you go to your device's settings:  

  • On the Today tab, tap the hourly activity tile.

  • Tap the gear icon > turn Reminders to Move on or off. 

You can find more information in this article. If the issue you mentioned persists, you can also try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account and then repeat the procedure to turn On the reminders.

Hi thanks for your reply.

 

As I said, the setting is clearly already toggled to ‘on’, the problem is that when I return to the previous screen with the device settings, it says ‘disabled’ next to ‘reminders to move’

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems that you already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps. In this case, I recommend that you continue the communication with them so they can let you know how to proceed.

Mine says reminder to move is turned off yet I still get notifications of reminders
