I use to “roll my wrist” to turn it on now I have to tap twice. How do I revert to wrist roll?

Your welcome @Akul_T and @Imsurvivin17 ! 😃 I’m happy I could help. Enjoy your day and as always Happy Stepping!
Best AnswerIf I had set a sleep schedule, but then had to turn off Sleep Mode so I could get the auto screen on running, will the device still go into sleep mode (as desired) during the schedule I had set? Thanks!
Hello @Markfm
Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a sleep schedule
More information can be found in the Charge 5 online manual found here:https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/manual_charge_5_en_US.pdf
😃 I hope that answers your question
Thanks, I'd thought so but it had been a while since I had to set up a fitbit (my Inspire 2 went belly up, hopping screen - just got the C5, really like its nice screen and look forward to trying Fitbit Pay).
Thank you for your advice. I had the same problem that you said, and it did work. However, I have I have to switch between screen week and sleep mode. Every time I go to bed for it to track my sleep?
Best AnswerI have Screen Wake set to Auto (so it'll light when I rotate my wrist), and I set a Sleep Schedule (which tells it when to not automatically light the screen when I rotate my wrist) using Settings - Quiet Modes - Sleep Mode - Schedule - Interval. This is really just controlling the lighting action of the device - it'll still track me sleeping outside of that schedule window.
Best AnswerNot sure if you've resolved your screen wake problem as it's dated June '22, but I was experiencing what several others were, including yourself, and I apparently accidentally had my sleep mode enabled (as MegaBite shared above). After disabling sleep mode, I was able to change from manual to auto wake up and it's operating as it should. Good luck
Solved my problem too--thank you!
When I tap the Screen wake screen it does not change to “auto”
Best AnswerGo to Settings - Quiet Modes - Sleep Mode
-If the top tile (Sleep Mode) is On, turn it Off
Go to Settings - Display Settings
-The "Screen Wake" tile should now be active - tap it to switch between Auto and Manual (use Auto for it to respond to wrist rotation)
If you want it to revert to Manual (requiring screen tap to view it) during sleeping hours, Go back to Settings - Quiet Modes - Sleep Mode
-Turn the "Schedule" tile on
-The "Interval" tile (just below "Schedule") will now be active - set the time period you want it to be in Sleep, for instance I use 23:00 (11 pm) to 06:00 (6 am the next morning)
Net, my device requires a tap to turn the screen on from 23:00 - 06:00, while the rest of the day it automatically turns on when I rotate my wrist.
(During the sleep Interval it's still logging data, for instance calculating how I've been sleeping, it only changes how the screen gets turned on)
Best AnswerThe auto wake is not working on my Fitbit 5. I read all the help here and it just doesn’t work. Tapping to change from manual to auto does not work.

My screen wake setting just shows manual and it can’t be changed. The wrist option was there it first. I have a charge 5
Thank you, it’s working again now
Best AnswerThank you!😊
Best AnswerThis did not work for me. It seems like Charge 5 has a default screen wake setting to "Manual." That is why every time I press or click on it, it shows it activated but disappears and back to the clock face, and nothing changes.
Why are we discussing this? Shouldn't Fitbit be solving this?
