Do NOT under any circumstances use your Charge 5 for swimming
Despite not being an old Charge 5 (I had to replace it a little over a year ago due to battery issues) and with the Water Lock feature turned on, the device no longer turns on due to water damage. This is ridiculous as it is advertised as a swim-proof device! Unfortunately it is past the warranty date so they will not send me a new one. Just making people are aware if they want to purchase a Fitbit to track swimming it will not work!

Hi there, @KirstyAllan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 stopped working after getting wet.
Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with your Charge 5 and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to keep the conversation with our Support Team. Note for this kind of inquiries/cases/process, there's not so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our team handles based on our policies.
Thanks in advance!
