Hello, I gave my old Fitbit Charge 5 to my mother as I have upgraded to Charge 6. But one or two weeks ago, my mother told me that it is not working anymore. It was fully charged when suddenly this happened. Please clarify and compensate if necessary.

Hi, @vidur.s, welcome, If we are to help fix the malfunction we'll need more information. Remember this is a help community, while it's monitored by moderators you'll need to contact "Customer Support" if you need Fitbit assistance. Use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response, it's a good move to note the steps taken to fix the problem and results so you can brief the agent clearly.
What's Fitbit's return and warranty policy? - Fitbit Help Center provides information you need to consider depending on the age of the Charge 5 & your location both of which impact the extent of the warranty.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Hi there, @vidur.s. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your mom's Charge 5 has stopped working. I understand where your concern is coming from. We're here to help! @Gr4ndp4 Thanks for your advice!
To better assist you, would you mind giving us more details about the symptoms of the Charge 5? If the Charge 5 is unresponsive, my first guess is that it might be related to a battery not charging.
Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting the Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
