Today I went for a run for the first time in an age, I recorded it directly on the Charge 5 and looked at the device every so often to check on my stats, it was running fine. I ran for around 50 minutes and at the end finished the workout on the device and saw the 'nice work' stats with the overview of max heart rate, average etc...all normal so far.
I was really pleased with my run and keen to look at the stats properly so I synced to my phone while walking home. This is where it goes wrong. The run is not recorded in the app at all. I have no heart rate data - just a gap on the graph. My active zone minutes for the day is 12 on the app whereas my device shows 100s from my run and warmup/down which was a lot of peak and cardio. My steps and distance, however, show correctly on both the app and watch.
Everything else I did between the previous sync and the one after this run has gone wrong. My sleep is not recorded, my heart rate data for all last night is missing and I have no health metrics for the past 24 hours. All of this has worked perfectly every other day for a year so I am confident the problem is to do with this run.
I have tried everything I can find on these forums such as restarting the device, removing it from the app, reinstalling the app, syncing to an alternative device. It's annoying because I bought this because my old versa used to crash whenever I went for a run. Ive never tried a long run with this in the year or so ive had it and now I have its failed me for the first time (and really the only time i particularly want the data).
Any ideas? I really want that data. I've tried android and iOS and i've tried exporting from the website but the data just isnt being transferred from the device. Many Thanks.
