Charge 5 weak vibration

I've had my charge 5 for 3 weeks now and can barely feel the vibrations for texts and calls even on "strong" (I've never tried an alarm).  I've done 3 different tech calls and all the "try this" options (like rest all settings, factory reset, re-connect to phone and after several on/off...)  didn't change anything.  HOWEVER, what I've noticed is if I press my fitbit FIRMLY against my arm when a call or text comes in I can feel it. I've tried several different bands to see if those help, but nothing can make the back of the charge 5 "tight enough" on my wrist to feel the vibrations. So I think it is a design flaw - the back of the tracker.  In fact, when using the band that comes with it -- I can't feel the vibrations at all.  I bought a cloth strap so that I can get a tighter/more snug fit on my wrist, but still very faint - barely feel it.  So not sure what the fix for that is.  Really need something to notify me when I get texts and calls.  Plus, it only one little blip...I think the charge 4 did several vibrations - not just one.  Sad to see a good tracker being "upgraded" but isn’t..new features are nice, need notifications like they were.
