Charge 5 won't count steps or anything else

My Charge 5 doesn't count steps, heart rate or anything else. I have tried restarting the device from the settings menu on the clock, resetting with the button on the charger and changeing the clock face but nothing has worked.

Need clarification.  Is the Charge 5 itself not counting steps/heart rate, or is the problem that it is not syncing with the Fitbit App?

@Kamillis when you say it does count steps or heartrate etc, what do you see, if anything, on the your Charge 5.  Is the screen blank?  

@Doe-buck if your Charge 5 is showing the wrong date that indicates that it has not synced with your phone/tablet.  I would recommend reading this this help article and carefully working through the suggestions there to get your Fitbit syncing again.  Once you have synced your Charge 5 should update with the correct date and time and your up to date steps and other stats will be visible in your app.

 

@Kamillis if your issue is that your info is showing on your Charge 5 itself but not reflected in the app, then that will also be a sync issue and I would recommend the same help article to you.

The screen is not blank, it shows the clock, but steps, kilometres, etc. says 0 even when i have been wearing it the whole day.

 

It doesn't show up in the app nor on the display on the watch.

My charge 5 is only counting steps and nothing else. It used to work . It’s still sincs  but not reading data in the first place
