All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.
Same thing happened to me this morning. I have gone through every single step they recommend and it still won't pair. I FINALLY got to a customer service and they admit that all Charge 5 devices are having this problem because of a firmware update and they are trying to fix it. So **ahem** frustrating. I just got this fitbit a week ago and it was fine until this morning!
I did notice one update. I'm getting a ton of notifications on my Fitbit watch now that I wasn't getting before. I thought it only would show me text messages. Now I'm getting every notification that my phone gets it's just not syncing

Best AnswerMine stopped syncing in the middle of an aerobics class apparently. Maybe this will help fix the problem: The app recorded the workout but the calculation of the calories burned was wrong. The graph is correct but the number of calories is just 50 (1 calorie per minute). I tried to make it recalculate and that's when I discovered that it was not syncing at all.
Best AnswerImagine how fun this is if you just bought a charge 5! I went through all the troubleshooting because I was convinced I was doing something wrong. I am glad I found this post 2 hours in, but I still messed with so many functions that I hope everything still works after this is fixed ;(
I'm having similar problems. Since the fitbit update in Aug. 2022 my charge 5 won't sync. I see steps, but no exercise or other information.I've also tried all of the workarounds- restarting my fitbit, uninstalling an reinstalling the app, turning bluetooth on and off, restarting the phone, taking the fitbit off of bluetooth and re-pairing it. Nothing has worked. Hoping there is a fast update/repair to the fitbit update that is obviously problematic. I'm on with fitbit chat but no reply yet...

Yeaterday my Charge 5 just stopped syncing. What is interesting that the app shows heart BPM and also walked distance but won’t sync (completely). Maybe this suggests that it is a software problem (the App?) This shouldn’t happen with hardware where users are paying extra money for the premium features, what a shame!
Mine stopped last Tuesday so no Fitbit readings for one week talked to 3 different customer service individuals on Thursday. Spent around 5 hours trying everything. If I were not an 8 year customer I would be out buying a different tracker..
