Charge 5 won’t sync

All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

Mine is syncing as usual since Tuesday 20:00 (Amsterdam time).

Well, it’s a good idea, but now the battery is going from 100% to 0% in an hour or so

Mine also won't sync or update and now the charge 5 won't turn on... I had plenty of battery earlier.mine stopped working 08/17/22 I guess?

Mine never recovered. Finally got it to sync, but watch froze halfway through the update Fitbit said had to be applied. After 3 days of back and forth with support, it has to be replaced. Hope the replacement works better.

My charge 5 started to sync again eventually on 16/8/22.  Has now stopped  syncing again, and no heart rate registering again!!

well, the **ahem** is dead in the water.... it worked maybe 8 hrs yesterday before, now... nothing... just sits there with the logo on.... refuses to connect to bluetooth, can't reset because after 3 button presses, goes dark and right back to logo... and it sits.... totally useless and with all the chatter here it doesn't look very promising... the support is a joke... and has been useless.. nothing they have suggested has worked successfully...

don't hold your breath.. mine came back for 8 hrs and is now hung up on the logo screen..... refuses to connect to bluetooth even though every other bluetooth device I have is working...

Mine is still working fine with iPhone 13.

I see apple had a new update today. iOS 15.6.1 now I’m concerned if I updated then my Fitbit will stop. 

is that going to happen again?

Mine is dead since August 14.
With all the disconnecting and reinstalling i managed to connect it again twice, but it has not been registering anything anymore, such as sleep or steps, and anyways i cannot activate the screen of the watch anymore. 
Did the update affect all Charge 5 watches?

I'm running iOS 15.6.1 and so far no problems.

Mine did start syncing again on the 16th, but has again stopped working this morning. It is the charge 5 and the iphone 13..

 

Update:

It is now syncing again after a couple of hours of trying it.

Looking at the so-called “support” site, it looks like it…..they give no information or help…. It just works when ever it feel like it:) mine worked 8 hours 2 days ago and then died until this morning…. Working now, but who know how long….

at least yours does that. Mine won't turn on at all. What an embarrassment this company is. Would you ever buy something from them again? I'm a big "NO" on this, but there's not anyone I can tell since FITBIT doesn't actually offer human being support.

Yeah...no. Not one feature works, including just the simple watch.

Hang tight. I have been on a chat with customer service rep "Carlo and the team" over the past few days. He has gotten back to me through the chat and email. Although I can sync, the battery drain is a big problem and I let him know that. He said they are working on a firmware update to fix the issue.

Thanks. I have been getting a lot of feedback from a lot of people about all kinds of issues that they have been having these past few days.
Hopefully, this upcoming firmware update will fix these issues.
