Charge 5 won’t sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.

Mine is still not syncing

Best Answer

I have the same issue. Everything is syncing except hourly activity.

I am missing data

Best Answer

Yeah mine now syncs but it shows 0 steps for Monday when I actually had over 10,000. I wish I could manually load the missing data.

Any updates? Fitbit won't update all hourly activities and daily exercises since yesterday

Same here. Only 3000 steps for yesterday.

As I look at the Fitbit app on my phone today, active hours, steps, heart rate, zone minutes are all missing from 9:30am until 2:30 pm. It looks like none of the detail synced for those categories just the totals. And active hours didn’t sync at all.

Mine is working again.

What i also did;

Delete fitbit app

delete charge 5 from my fitbit account (web login)

set fitbit charge 5 to factory settings

delete fitbit from bluetooth devices

reinstall fitbit app

add the charge 5

I did all that as well. Followed all the directions. Nothing worked, but all of a sudden it started to work. It seems that something was done in the background. Fitbit needs to be a lot more transparent about these issues

I suppose you really can't (and shouldn't) do anything on your end to fix this besides waiting.

I tried EVERYTHING but nothing worked on my new phone. On my older phone everything went as usual. Including re-pairing the fitbit and syncing.

Suddenly it started working again on the new phone as well.

I guess they have to fix the communication definitions on their end to support all different devices.

Nothing you can influence on your side.

It's baaaaaaaaaack... Wouldn't sync this morning. Tried the reset using the charge cable, etc. Finally tried re-pairing, and it wouldn't even pair at first. It finally re-paired, which was a bad idea because now I have to start all over for the readiness score, and it dumped my sleep stats from the previous night.

Try this:

log in using the Fitbit website, change a setting for example a workout shortcut and go to main menu on the site. the web will sync with your watch.
