Delete steps by making cycling exercise

Hi all,

On this forum I read that steps counted during cycling can be removed by logging a cycling activity. I managed to this, however, the steps don't disappear.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've never read you could delete steps by logging cycling activity.  It used to be that you could delete steps by logging 'driving' during that time but I don't know if that has been true for several years.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I see. I also read about the ''Driving'' option, but that doesn't show in my options for activities. As I understood any activity that does not include steps will make the steps disappear, so far it hasn't worked yet tho.

Hi,

I'll plug myself in as I'm encountering the same issues,

I've noticed this tracker adds unnecessary steps while a cycling activity is active.

That may be linked with the build-in accelerometer and the software algorithm that seems to be too sensitive hence picking up all the vibrations coming from the rides.
