...make an announcement on this forum:

1. Acknowledging the defective firmware update.

2. Reporting on and updating us on its efforts to correct the problems.

3. Giving us an honest timeline for the fix.

4. Remove the update banner on the app until a corrected update is available.

The announcement should be on a new thread that doesn't get buried under a bunch of replies and it should be updated as developments warrant.  It should stay at the top of the page for all to easily find.

It would be encouraging if Fitbit would acknowledge the battery drain and other issues in the same way that it is now acknowledging the syncing issue (red banner at the top of this forum).  I'm still on the sidelines on the update waiting for the "all clear."
