Since i bought the Charge 5 i had issues with the screen stuck on Fitbit logo, returned the tracker and they sent me a new one. Now, the GPS is suddenly always disconnecting when i go out for a run. I did the factory reboot, loosen my strap, changed the GPS settings (i never changed them before having this problem). I even kiss the floor, pray to God, Allah and Yahve but no way, it keeps disconnecting. 🤨 The thing is that this is the main reason why i chose this product. Now today, the tracker got stuck again on Fitbit logo for a whole hour before coming back to life. I mean…All these problems into the first year of use? I’m so disappointed ☹️ It’s ruining my motivation and makes me loose precious time that I could invest somewhere else. Considering paying 500$ and get an Apple watch so I could focus on exercise without being worried about if my tracker will still work later or tomorrow or next week.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @MarkkQc.
Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've been experiencing with your Charge 5 and the steps that you already tried.
Keep in mind that all devices with GPS sensors require a direct path to GPS satellites to calculate location. A weak GPS signal might affect the accuracy of your route and other activity data. Your device uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a signal, so the total distance calculated for a workout may be slightly less accurate when GPS isn't available for the entire time. In particular, please make sure of the following:
If the GPS is getting disconnected during your activity, the Charge 5 may track different information for the the distance. Before considering other options, make sure to follow the steps suggested in this article.
If you continue to experience the same behavior and your GPS is getting disconnected, make sure to try following the steps listed in this article to complete a restart using the charging cable, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar.
