Fitbit does not recognize hiking or snowshoeing as exercise. Why is that?

Hi, @gonzaso Welcome to the community, I'm happy to see your post.
Thanks for letting me know about the hiking and snowshoeing recognized as exercises using your Charge 5.
Some of the exercises are not yet implemented in the exercise app, you can check more about this here. Also, my best recommendation would be posting this idea in the Product Feedback board in the community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers. Make sure to post your idea including as many details as possible.

Hello @gonzaso
If you are looking for your Charge 5 to auto-recognize hiking and snowshoeing as exercise, those are not in the list of the current 7 auto-recognized activities. The auto-recognized activities are:
For Hiking, I believe you should be able to manually start & stop the activity from your Charge 5 Exercise tile. For Snowshoeing, you can use the generic Workout activity to track your exercise.
