Supposedly, only a "small number of users" have been affected by the latest issues, but no info on how they arrived at this conclusion. I think it's more than that. I'm curious to know how many others still have a device that isn't fully functioning.

I'll start;

My device experienced rapid battery drain on June 30 and completely bricked on July 1. None of the troubleshooting steps resolved my issues. I am out of warranty.
