Hello @bmccr

I believe I can help. Open Fitbit App, tap profile picture, scroll down and tap Activities & Wellness. Now tap exercises. Scroll to the bottom and tap cues & frequency. Here is where you can make adjustments. Sync your Fitbit if you make any changes.
Please let me know if that indeed answer your question. 😃 Happy Stepping!

@bmccr  From the Fitbit App and your in the Activities & Wellness (as described above) you tap exercise then you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page. Did you scroll completely down? It will look like this:

Here’s another way to find it @bmccr since there are more then one way. Open your Fitbit App and go to your exercise tile. Tap the plus sign on the right of the tile. Cues and frequency can be found here as well. Just tap cues and make the adjustments you want. With the App running your mobile will tell you stats on the current run/walk you are doing. The frequency it speaks can be set for minutes or miles, you choose how often. It can speak cues to you on the Distance, Time, and/or current pace.

I hope that makes sense. 😃 Let me know

@bmccr   I'm sorry, but @SunsetRunner's path does not give you vibration cues on your Charge 5.  Those are the voice cues for MobileRun, an older feature for trackers without Exercise apps.  Some current users prefer voice cues, but MobileRun doesn't show your heart rate in the exercise details (a bug that won't get fixed).

According to this Help article, this is how you set your vibration cues on a Charge series device:

  • Tap on your profile avatar > Charge 5 tile
  • Choose Exercise Shortcuts
  • Choose Run (or any other shortcut that can give splits)
  • Tap Show laps and select your settings
  • Sync your Charge 5

I wear a Versa 3.  When it vibrates for my splits, my screen shows the split information for about 10 seconds.  I gave my Charge 5 away, so I'm not sure what the screen shows.  Be sure to set your vibrations to Strong.
