NEW GRAPH STINKS!!!
I hate the new sleep graph!!!
bring back the old one!!!
I guess it is time to look at other “trackers”… even tho I have been a strong supporter of Fitbit for YEARS….
i will search to find one that I like !!!
TC, the editing menu is in the ‘triple dots’ at the top-right corner. It gives separate ‘edit’ and ‘delete’ dialogue. If you go into ‘delete’ you simply delete the shortest sleep, come out of the menu, go into ‘edit’ and adjust the start or finish time of the remaining sleep accordingly.
I actually quite like the new edit/delete controls - they finally listened and made it less easy to accidentally delete a sleep!
..but I still want my old sleep graph back!
Best AnswerThat will edit the main sleep log. If the "other sleep" is supposed to be at the start of the main log, you can't edit the main log (says you have another log). But you can't delete the other log so you can change the main one.
Previously it would show all the logs and all could be edited it deleted.
Best AnswerNot sure I’ve had the opportunity/need to do that. I’ll see if it comes up.
Do you have more than two sleeps in the log?
Best AnswerI think I figured it out. The "other" sleep log also showed up on the day before. It could be edited there (but not deleted), then I was able to adjust the next day. Very strange! If set your predicted sleep hours, the app should merge any logs within those hours.
I often find when editing or deleting anything, it’s best to make your first adjustment and then come right out, click back a day and then come back to make your next adjustment.
Best AnswerHas anyone found a good option for a different tracker with the sleep graphs we like and are used to? I had hoped Fitbit might reverse its decision but that doesn’t seem likely. Shopping…
I had the same hope but apparently they're ignoring negative customer input. However, if you delete the Fitbit app from your phone and reinstall it from the store (all your data is preserved), the old sleep graph mysteriously comes back. Sadly the new one replaces it in about 24 hours. Don't know if it's the same on iPhone.
I don't understand everyone's dislike for the sleep graph. It's much easier to read, and looks almost identical. You can get the bar chart by hitting "benchmark", but don't really see the need for that.
I got the old graph back just like you said, after reinstall the app. Hope it stays!!!
Best AnswerThank you for display the old and new. Please notice that the old one has "interactive" feature, i.e. if you tab a section, it'll display exact time period. The new version has no such feature.
Don't think I ever used those tabs. What "exact time period" that's not shown on the graph?
Best AnswerI agree. To me, the app is more important than the look of the tracker. Hate this new update and unless I see some sign that Fitbit are listening to users, then I’m done with Fitbit. Shame bc I really liked it.
