New owner, logging exercise?

New Fitbit owner as of today, seems pretty intuitive but I can't figure out how to log exercise. I did a 20 minute HIIT session on my stationary bike and when I scroll to Exercise it still shows 0 of 5. I do that workout almost daily so want to make sure it's logged. What am I missing? Thanks!

Hello @SunsetRunner

You can have 6 exercise shortcuts loaded onto your App and tracker, and you can choose from  a list of about 20.

If you would like to swap some, you should go into your App and select Charge 5, then Exercise Shortcuts. It should show you the ones you have now.

If you want to get rid of one, you can slide to the left to delete.  That then opens up the opportunity to add a new exercise shortcut.

You can select +Exercise Shortcut and then scroll down the list of options until you find the one you want  and select it.

If you want to change more of them, repeat the process.

In my case, I only want a couple of shortcuts that I regularly use so have less than 6 on my tracker.  It also means less to scroll though.

Then it means that the next time you want to track an exercise, you can do it directly from your Charge 5 by swiping left twice to Exercise Shortcuts and scrolling through your loaded ones until you find the one you want.  Then you tap Start  when you’re ready to track and when you’re finished, tap the screen again. A yellow pause button will come up.  If you tap it again, you’ll get an orange Finish button.  Tap that and it’s done.

If you want to see the results on your phone, sync with Bluetooth on.

I hope that helps a bit.

@SunsetRunner welcome to Fitbit and welcome to the Community!

If you look at the Exercise tile in the app, there's a + sign next to where it says "0 of 5". Tap on that and you can manually enter your exercise session. Let me know if that doesn't work for you and I can give you more tips on that.

I see this is an old post. Has it been fixed, or what movements are you referring to?
