Problems after the last update

Since the latest update (1-2 weeks ago) the battery on my less than 6 month old Charge 5 dies.  In the last two days it’s gone from 100% charged to dead in a matter of hours.  I have the settings placed so it shouldn’t drain the battery.  Yesterday, after a full charge it was stuck on the introduction logo screen all day until it finally died.  It also shows the time from when it died rather than automatically changing to the current time.  I have to sync it to the app in order for the correct time to show.  It also, no longer shows my heart rate.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hello @alishagibb04

I'm sorry you're having these problems!

After an update sometimes the settings get changed by themselves, so it might be worth double checking them.

If it's not showing your heart rate, please check that Heart Rate is turned on.  Scroll down from the Clock Face to Settings, tap, then scroll up to Heart Rate and make sure it's set to on and you can see a blue circle meaning it's on.

Other things to try are resetting your tracker.  Connect it to the Charger, then press the button at the USB end 3 times until the Fitbit logo appears.

Hopefully one of these things might help you a bit.

If none of them do, you should contact Support. You can reach them by tapping on Help at the bottom of this page, then Get Support, then Live Chat (I've heard that the chat is a good way to reach them).

Good luck!
