Readiness Score on Charge 5 not matching on app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Readiness score is showing 22 on my Charge 5 watch and 94 in the app. Pretty big difference!!  Which one am I supposed to believe?  Also, my sleep score and SP02% score are not showing on my watch.  I restarted my watch, turned the Bluetooth off/on, force stopped the app, but I'm still having the problem. I'm paying for a Premium account but not getting a premium product.  What's going on?

Hello @glasgowgal

I'm not sure why you're not seeing the same Readiness score on your Charge 5 and in the app. One more thing you can try is to clear the cache for the Fitbit app on your phone.

As for not seeing the sleep score & SpO2 on your Charge 5, you're seeing the values in the Fitbit app, right? If so, I know there's been an issue where users don't see the sleep score & other sleep data on their Fitbits. I hadn't seen recent reports so I thought it had been resolved. As long as you're seeing the data in the Fitbit app, the good news is that your data is being uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers. So, there's no data loss.

I know there is a Fitbit app update for both Android & iOS that recently started rolling out. The Android version is 4.26.1 & the iOS version is 4.26 or 4.26.1. Have you gotten & installed the recent app update?

Hello Rieko,

I cleared the cache in the app and checked that I have the most recent version (I do). I restarted the watch, synced, but still no sleep score displaying on watch and the Readiness scores still don't match.  The SP02% is now displayed.

Hello @glasgowgal

Thank you for the update. I'm glad that you're now seeing your SpO2 score. It looks like the sleep score problem is one that hasn't been fixed yet.

I'm really perplexed to the huge difference in the Readiness score. Although I'm not sure, I think the algorithm that calculates the score is part of the Fitbit app. So, it might be better to follow the Readiness score in the app rather than the one on the Charge 5.

Edited to add: I saw a recent Moderator post in the Charge 6 forum (<-- click link) acknowledging an issue with the Readiness score on the device being different that what is shown in the app. So, it looks like the problem is on the Fitbit side.

I'm having the same problem (Charge 6).  My phone shows readiness of 1 and my Fitbit, a readiness of 41.  They have both been changing independently over the last few days, but never match.  All other data looks like it is synced.  I tried the recommended fixes here to no avail.  Running 4.26.1.

Same issue here. Readiness is 25 on my charge 6 watch and 59 on the app. Is the watch updating throughout the day based on activity??

Hello @Grae12

This help page has the information on how the updated readiness score is calculated (<-- click link).

Please let us know if this doesn't answer your question.

This is no help.  The question is not about how the readiness score is calculated, it's why the app and Fitbit are out of sync.  I did follow the direction about deleting your readiness score, which I did.  Deleting the score on the app deleted the score on the Fitbit.  Now the next day, Fitbit says readiness is 63 and the app says that my readiness is 37.  It would be great to have some real answers for a premium service.

After speaking with customer service, it turns out that this is a "known issue" that is apparently being addressed in their next update.

Any mention of when the next update is for this "known issue"?  Hopefully, the next update won't break something else!  I'm still not seeing the Sleep Score on my watch either. Shows on the app, though.  Very frustrating!

Hello @glasgowgal

I saw Moderator posts last week mentioning that an app update will be rolling out in the next few days. So, if they are correct in the timing, the app update could start rolling out sometime this week.

Usually, the app updates tend to rollout in waves. That said, the last couple of app updates seemed to rollout to all users within a week. Keep checking your app store for the update.
