When will rowing be an exercise that can be tracked?

Hi, @GoldenBrown , you can track rowing - and a large number of other exercises. Tracking is not limited to your “shortcuts”. Simply track it as a “workout” (using the workout shortcut on your Fitbit) and then when it has synced to your phone “categorize” it to rowing. If you need help on exactly how to do that, please post again letting us know what operating system (Android or iOS) you use.
One thing some users have noted, however, is that (depending on your technique) rowing is an activity that can involve significant flexing of the wrist, which does sometimes interfere with heart rate detection.

Hi, @GoldenBrown , when you are ready to begin your rowing session open your exercise app on your Fitbit and track your session as a “workout” which is one of the preloaded exercise shortcuts. Don’t forget to end your workout when you have finished.
When you next sync your Charge 5 it will appear on your Fitbit in the exercise session labelled “workout”. Click on your workout to see details, and near the top of the screen you will see the option to “categorize” Click on that and in the search box that comes up just begin typing rowing and when it pops up select it, and job done!
I hope this is clear. Let us know if you need further info.
