Hi, @JohndJohnd , I believe what you are seeing is a bug that has intermittently affected users over the last few months. As far as I can tell it mostly simply corrects itself. I also experienced it. Even though I had been using the SpO2 feature I got a message saying I had to download the app, and then a message that the app wasn’t available.
There definitely is an SpO2 app for the Charge 5. First, make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app. Then from the opening Today screen of the app click on the small icon top left (phone and smartwatch). On the next screen click on the picture of your Charge 5 and then click on Apps. Find the SpO2 app there. It may say that it is already downloaded. If it says app not available then I would recommend logging out of the app and logging back in again (be sure you know the email address associated with your Fitbit account and your password). You will not lose any data by logging out.
It is also worth giving your Fitbit a restart whenever it is not behaving as expected.
If neither of these steps fixes this issue I expect you are being affected by the bug and that it will likely resolve itself in the next few hours. That seems to have been the experience of most people who have encountered this issue.
I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
