Screen seems frozen Charge 5

My screen is only showing 5 spots ( dots )- the middle one shows red.

The device is fully charged.

I have tried the restart procedure with no effect.

Tapping the screen has no effect.

Any suggestions

 

Just to add that the device is still working.

It has picked up a bike ride on an auto basis

 

I managed to get a chat line with the US - not Australia!!

She gave me a different restart process from the one in the manual - press button charger 3 times and wait 10secs. This worked and I am back to normal.
